The other components of its formula are ethanol at 39% V/V, orange blossom water and caramel (E150).
Dosage of Carominthe Lehning Difficult digestion
This medicine is only for adults.
The generally recommended dosage is 20 drops, 4 times a day for 3 days, then 2 times a day for 15 days, preferably away from meals.
The doses should be spaced out as soon as the symptoms improve, and stopped when they disappear.
Treatment should not be continued after 3 or 4 days if no improvement is noted.
Contraindications of Carominth in oral solution
This medication should not be used in children, or in cases of allergy/hypersensitivity to one of its components.
Carominth, oral solution contains a maximum of 39% by volume of ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 154 mg per dose of 20 drops, which corresponds to 3.8 ml of beer or 1.5 ml of wine.
Its use is therefore dangerous for alcoholic subjects, and must be taken into consideration in the event of pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in children and high-risk groups such as people with epilepsy or liver failure.
This medication also contains the Pulsatilla strain, so it should not be used in cases of sinusitis or otitis without prior medical advice.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Carominth, oral solution is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, due to the presence of alcohol in its formula.
