The medication Chondrosulf 1200 mg contains chondroitin sulfate, a molecule naturally present in cartilage and bone. Chondrosulf 1,200 mg is indicated in adults (over 15 years) for the treatment of pain and functional discomfort in osteoarthritis of the knee and hip.
One sachet contains 1,200 mg of chondroitin sulfate sodium.
The other ingredients are: Xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, microcrystalline cellulose, vanilla flavor, caramel flavor, purified water.
Dosage of Chondrosulf 1200 mg sachets
The dosage should follow your doctor's recommendations or the instructions in this leaflet.
This medicine is reserved for adults (over 15 years old).
The dosage is 1 sachet (1200 mg) to be taken once a day, swallowed as is or diluted in half a glass of water, preferably with a meal.
Due to its slow action, the effect of this medicine may take time to appear and relief occurs after 1 to 2 months of treatment.
The duration of osteoarthritis treatment will depend on clinical results, taking into account the effect is delayed by approximately 2 months and which may persist after stopping treatment.
Contraindications of Chondrosulf 1200 mg chondroitin
In case of allergy (hypersensitive) to the active substance or any of the other components and in children under 15 years of age, the medicine Chondrosulf is contraindicated.

Its use in pregnant and breastfeeding women is not recommended.
