Chondrosulf 800 mg tablets is a medicine containing chondroitin. This is a symptomatic treatment with delayed effect for osteoarthritis of the hip, knee and small joints of the hand in adults (over 18 years old).
Dosage of Chondrosulf 800 mg tablet
This medication for osteoarthritis should be taken at a dosage of 1 800 mg tablet per day. The tablet should be swallowed with a glass of water and can be taken before, during or after meals.
In the absence of clinical data, the use of chondroitin sulfate sodium in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.
The duration of treatment will be modulated according to clinical results, knowing that the effect is delayed by 2 months and that it may persist after stopping treatment.
Precautions for use of Chondrosulf 800 medicine for osteoarthritis
This Chondrosulf medication is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Like all medicines, Chondrosulf can cause side effects in some people such as skin rashes or digestive problems. If in doubt, you should notify your doctor.
