Cicaderma ointment is a homeopathic medicine from Boiron laboratories.
This ointment is traditionally used in wounds, small superficial burns and insect bites.
The active ingredients present in Cicaderma ointment are a vaseline digest of Calendula officinalis flowering tops, Hypericum perforatum flowering tops, Achillea millefolium flowering tops (97%) and the mother tincture of Ledum palustre (1.5%). The excipients are petroleum jelly and ethanol (alcohol) at 60°.
Dosage of Cicaderma Boiron against burns
After carefully cleaning the skin, Cicaderma ointment will be applied 2 to 3 times a day for a week on small burns, sunburns, or wounds.
The homeopathic medicine Cicaderma ointment can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Precautions for use for Cicaderma ointment
In neonates (premature and term), high concentrations of ethanol can cause severe skin reactions and systemic toxicity (significant absorption through skin that is immature (especially under occlusion such as dressings, diapers)).
Due to a risk of photosensitization, the area treated with Cicaderma ointment should not be exposed to the sun.
In case of known allergy(s) to any of the constituents, this ointment should not be used against burns.
If the burn becomes infected or the skin does not heal, in the event of a fever or if the area is hot, red and swollen (signs of inflammation), do not hesitate to consult your doctor.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not store the tube more than 12 months after first opening.
