Directions for Use

1. Clean the wound with soap and water or sterile saline solution (0.9% NaCl).
2. Remove the cap and sprinkle the powder directly onto the bleeding area.
3. Do not remove the powder from the wound; it will naturally detach as the scab forms.
4. If necessary, cover the wound with a dressing or adhesive bandage.
5. Replace the cap after use.

If the wound shows signs of infection (redness, warmth, swelling, yellow or green discharge), if fever develops, or if you are unsure about the injury, seek medical advice.

If the wound has previously been treated with antiseptics containing sodium hypochlorite, chlorhexidine, benzalkonium chloride, or copper salts, rinse thoroughly with sterile saline before applying Coalgan Hemostatic Powder.
