Cocculin Boiron Doses

The medicine Cocculin in homeopathic doses is traditionally used as a remedy for motion sickness as well as nausea and vomiting not accompanied by fever.

Its other components are lactose and sucrose.

Dosage of Cocculin single doses?
This medication can be administered to children from 18 months of age, but between this age and 6 years of age, medical advice should be sought. Up to 6 years of age, to avoid the risk of misdirection, melt the granules in a little water before giving it to the child.
The granules should be allowed to melt under the tongue.

Cocculin will be administered as follows: a first dose the day before departure, a second dose just before leaving. A dose may be given if symptoms appear. This dose can be repeated if necessary but will stop as soon as the symptoms improve.

It is preferable to take doses of Cocculin away from meals.

Precautions with Cocculin homeopathic doses
The use of Cocculin in doses is not recommended in patients with galactose intolerance, fructose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase/isomaltase deficiency (rare hereditary diseases). You must inform your doctor before taking this medication if he has informed you of an intolerance to certain sugars.

Finally, this medication should never be taken in case of allergy to one of its constituents.
