Recommended use and precautions for use:
- Before using for the first time, boil the bottle, pacifier and accessories for 5 minutes.
- Before each use, wash the bottle only with soap or mild detergents using a soft brush, then rinse.
- All parts can be washed in the dishwasher (in the upper basket).
- Before each use, clean the pacifier by hand. Examine and pull the pacifier in all directions. Throw it away at the first signs of deterioration or fragility. Do not expose the pacifier directly to the sun or to heat.
Sterilisation instructions:
- For cold sterilization, follow the directions for use. Be careful not to leave the pacifier in the sterilizing solution longer than indicated. Drain the bottle and teat well before preparing the bottle.
- For hot sterilization (steam or microwave), carefully follow the advice in the instructions for the device used.
- Before each machine cleaning and / or hot sterilization, completely disassemble the bottle.
Instructions for heating (do not overheat):
- If you heat a Dodie bottle, especially in the microwave, place the bottle upright, open and filled.
- Warning: before feeding your baby, remember to stir the heated food well to distribute the heat and to test the temperature. Heating in the microwave can cause high temperatures locally.
For the health and security of your child:
- Glass bottles can break.
- The rubber teats are not suitable for the Dodie glass bottle.
- This product should always be used under adult supervision.
- Keep all unused items (ring, cap) out of the reach of children.
- Never use a bottle nipple as a pacifier.
- Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids can lead to tooth decay, even with unsweetened fluids.
- Always check the temperature of the food before bottle-feeding.
- The Dodie pacifier must be used with a Dodie bottle with a neck suitable for the pacifier and fixed with the tightening ring.
- Replace the pacifier at least every 6 weeks for hygiene and safety reasons.
