The Patented Double Coating System of Strains ensures maximum protection of lactic bacteria during production and transport as well as along the digestive tract:1st layer: A matrix of proteins and peptides that protects the lactic bacteria from the acidity of the stomach and bile salts ensuring their survival up to the small intestine. 2nd layer: A hydrocolloidal polysaccharide matrix that protects lactic bacteria from moisture, heat and mechanical pressure during manufacturing, ambient storage and distribution.
