Flector Tissugel EP 1% Medicated Patches – 10 Count are topical anti-inflammatory patches designed to provide localized relief from pain and inflammation associated with sprains, bruises, tendon and ligament injuries, and painful flare-ups of knee osteoarthritis.

Each medicated patch contains 140 mg of diclofenac sodium (1%), in the form of diclofenac epolamine, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce inflammation and relieve pain directly at the affected area.

The flexible, adhesive patch measures 10 × 14 cm (approximately 3.9 × 5.5 inches) and delivers sustained topical anti-inflammatory action.

Suitable for adults and individuals aged 15 years and older.

Active Ingredient

Each Medicated Patch (10 × 14 cm) Contains:

Diclofenac Sodium 140 mg (1% w/w), in the form of Diclofenac Epolamine.

Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with localized pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties.

Directions for Use

For External Use Only

Dosage depends on the condition being treated.

Sprains and Bruises:

• Apply 1 patch daily.

• Recommended treatment duration: 3 days, up to a maximum of 7 days if necessary.

• Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve after 3 days.

Tendon and Ligament Pain:

• Apply 1 patch in the morning and 1 patch in the evening.

• Recommended treatment duration: 7 days.

• Consult a doctor if pain persists after 7 days.

Painful Flare-Ups of Knee Osteoarthritis:

• Apply 1 patch in the morning and 1 patch in the evening.

• Recommended treatment duration: 7 days.

• Treatment may be extended if necessary, but should not exceed 14 days and requires medical guidance.

Without medical supervision, do not use for more than 4 days.

How to Apply

1. Open the sealed pouch at the indicated location.

2. Remove the medicated patch from its packaging.

3. Peel away the transparent protective film covering the adhesive surface.

4. Apply the patch directly to clean, intact skin over the painful area.

5. If necessary, use the supplied elastic support net to help keep the patch in place.

6. Carefully reseal the pouch after opening.

Use each patch intact. Do not cut or modify the patch.

If a dose is missed, do not apply additional patches to compensate.

• Not recommended for children under 15 years of age.

• Do not use if allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any ingredients in the patch.

• Do not apply to broken, irritated, infected, or damaged skin, including wounds, burns, or eczema.

• Do not use if you have an active peptic ulcer.

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

• Do not use under airtight or occlusive dressings.

• Discontinue use immediately if a skin rash or allergic reaction develops.

• Avoid direct sunlight and UV exposure during treatment due to the risk of photosensitivity.

• Do not combine with other medications containing diclofenac or other NSAIDs unless directed by a healthcare professional.

• Consult a doctor before use if you have heart, kidney, or liver disease, a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, asthma, or medication allergies.

• Use with caution in older adults.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:

• Use during the first five months of pregnancy only when considered necessary by a healthcare professional.

• Contraindicated from the beginning of the sixth month of pregnancy.

• Not recommended while breastfeeding.

• Consult a healthcare professional if pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Possible Side Effects:

Skin irritation, itching, redness, rash, dryness, burning sensations, or allergic skin reactions may occur.

Stop use and seek medical attention if a serious allergic reaction occurs.

Storage Instructions

Store in the original packaging. Carefully reseal the pouch after opening.

Use within 3 months of first opening the sealed pouch.
