Dosage of Homeoplasmin ointment

In case of skin irritation, apply it 1 to 3 times a day in a thin layer.

Contraindications of Homeoplasmine cream

Homeoplasmin is contraindicated in cases of allergy to the constituents of the ointment, in children under 30 months and in cases of oozing and superinfected lesions. Due to the presence of boric acid, this medication should not be used for prolonged or repeated periods, on damaged skin (especially burned skin), over a large surface area, as an occlusive (closed) dressing, particularly in children.
Boric acid has been the cause of serious poisoning in children. Certain signs should alert: skin signs such as intense and diffuse erythroderma then desquamation with initial erythema predominating in particular at the site and mouth.

Homeoplasmin is not recommended during pregnancy or in women of childbearing age who are not using contraception. It should also not be used while breastfeeding. If the medicine was applied to the breasts, and the woman wanted to breastfeed, she would then need to clean the skin well before breastfeeding. Always seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medication when you are breastfeeding, planning a pregnancy, or think you may be pregnant.
