Product Description
Homeoptic Single-Dose Eye Drops from Boiron are preservative-free homeopathic eye drops traditionally used to relieve minor eye irritation and discomfort in adults and children 1 year and older.
Homeoptic may help with eye discomfort associated with prolonged visual effort, eye fatigue, swimming in the sea or pool, or exposure to smoky environments.
Each single-dose container contains 0.4 mL of eye drop solution and is intended for single use.
Indications
Homeoptic is traditionally used for minor eye irritation or discomfort associated with:
- Prolonged visual effort, including screen use
- Eye fatigue
- Swimming in the sea or pool
- Smoky atmospheres
- Other minor forms of eye irritation or discomfort
Composition
Each 0.4 mL single dose contains:
Active Ingredients:
- Euphrasia officinalis 3 DH – 0.004 g
- Calendula officinalis 3 DH – 0.001 g
- Magnesia carbonica 5 CH – 0.001 g
Other Ingredients:
- Sodium chloride
- Purified water
Preservative-free.
Directions for Use
The usual dosage is 1–2 drops in each eye, 2–6 times daily.
Stop treatment when symptoms disappear.
To apply, wash your hands, open a single-dose container, gently pull down the lower eyelid while looking upward, and place the recommended drops into the eye. Use a new single-dose container for each application and discard it after use.
If using another eye drop, allow 15 minutes between applications.
Precautions
- For adults and children 1 year and older.
- Do not use in children under 1 year of age.
- Do not use when eye irritation is accompanied by pus or eyelids sticking together upon waking.
- Do not use in cases of severe eye pain, direct impact, or eye injury. Seek medical attention promptly in these situations.
- If symptoms worsen or persist for more than 2 days, consult a doctor.
- Contact lens wear is not recommended during treatment.
- Avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eye, eyelashes, or other surfaces.
- Do not reuse an opened single-dose container.
