Ipeca compound also contains two excipients with notable effects: sucrose and lactose.
This homeopathic medicine comes in the form of granules packaged in a tube.
Dosage of Ipeca compound homeopathy medicine
The oral route constitutes the mode of administration of Ipeca compound. The granules, in children over 6 years old and in adults, should be allowed to melt under the tongue. For children under 6 years old, the granules must be dissolved in a little water.
The Boiron tube containing the granules opens as follows to obtain the granules: it is inverted so as to place the cap downwards. To obtain the granules, you must then turn the cap following the instructions written on its flat side. Finally, we can open the tube. The granules are contained in the cap.
Precautions for use of Ipecac compound
A doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist.
Lactose and sucrose are excipients with a notorious effect.
Some strains in the mixture are offered alone, such as the Ipeca strain in granules.
