The L107 oral solution from Lehning laboratories is a homeopathic medicine in the form of drops. Sold without a prescription, it is traditionally used in the adjuvant treatment of acute gastroenteritis. It can be used from 30 months.
Composition of L107 gastro from Lehning
Solution L107 contains equal parts (3 ml) of the following homeopathic strains: Arsenicum album 6DH, Belladonna 3DH, Chamomilla vulgaris 9DH, China rubra 3DH, Colocynthis 4DH, Ipeca 4DH, Mercurius corrosivus 6DH, Nux vomica 4DH.
The excipients of this medicine against gastro are purified water and ethanol.
Dosage of Lehning L107 drops
In adults, take 10 drops after each liquid stool and space out as soon as symptoms improve. Do not exceed 60 drops per day.
In children from 30 months (on medical advice only): give 3 drops after each liquid stool, leave at least 4 hours between 2 doses.
Consult a doctor if no improvement within 48 hours. After medical advice, the treatment can be continued for 3 days, for a total of 5 days maximum.
The L107 drops are to be put in a little water. It is recommended to keep the liquid under the tongue before swallowing, away from meals.
Precautions for use of L107 gastroenteritis medication
Due to the lack of scientific data and therefore as a precaution, do not use L107 during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of these ingredients.
L107 contains 45% alcohol volume which does not correspond to 89 mg per 10 drops of medication. This is the equivalent of 2.2ml of beer and 0.9ml of wine. However, it must be taken into account in alcoholic or epileptic patients, in pregnant or breastfeeding women and in children.
