Ialuset Plus antibacterial healing cream

Ialuset Plus cream is an antibacterial healing cream . It is formulated with hyaluronic acid and silver sulfadiazine. It is suitable for healing burns , infected wounds as well as skin conditions that are primarily bacterial or susceptible to superinfection.

Ialuset Plus cream and antisepsis 

Burns expose the body to a risk of infection . Indeed, since the epidermis is destroyed or damaged, germs present on the skin are likely to penetrate the body and cause an infection. This is why Ialuset Plus Cream incorporates  silver sulfadiazine . This active ingredient provides silver ions that will have an antibacterial action. It is also a sulfonamide that has antimicrobial properties. Thus, silver sulfadiazine is suitable for  the antisepsis of burns . It is also suitable for superficial wounds and skin conditions.

Another key active ingredient in Ialuset Plus cream: hyaluronic acid . This is a substance naturally produced by the body, and found in large quantities in the skin. Directions for use and dosage:

• After performing the usual cleaning care, apply the cream directly to the previously cleaned and disinfected wound in a layer of approximately 2 to 3 mm thick or place the cream on a sterile gauze which is then applied to the wound. The cream is covered with a sterile gauze and the whole thing can be held in place using a suitable bandage.
• Before renewing the applications, it is recommended to clean the wound with physiological serum.
• The frequency of renewal is 1 application per day from the budding phase until complete healing.
• The cream can be removed by simple washing.
• The progress of your wound healing remains at the sole discretion of your doctor.

Contraindications:

• Known sensitization to sulfonamides, general or local (contact eczema).
• Allergy to one of the constituents.
• Due to limited human data, the use of Ialuset Plus cream is not recommended in children under 2 years of age. 

Precautions for use:

• Follow the methods for cleaning and disinfecting wounds and their surroundings. The combination of this device
• Avoid exposing parts of the body treated with Ialuset Plus cream to bright light (risk of photosensitization).
• In subjects suffering from renal or hepatic insufficiency, avoid application of the cream to open wounds.
• Close the tube tightly after each use. Do not apply the tip of the tube directly to the wound.
• Pregnancy and lactation: use in pregnant and breastfeeding women only when necessary. 
• Keep out of reach of children.
• This medical device must be stored at a temperature below 30°C and protected from light.
