The Berberis No. 83 complex from Lehning laboratories is a homeopathic medicine available without a prescription. Berberis is traditionally used in the symptomatic treatment of common low back pain, back pain in adults.
Composition of Berberis complex n°83 from Lehning
The strains contained in the Berberis complex are, in equal parts (3 ml) per 30 ml bottle:
Berberis 2 DH
Oxalicum acidum 8 DH
Colchicum autumnale 3 DH
Colocynthis 3 DH
Betula 1 DH
Kalium carbonicum 2 DH
Natrum sulfuricum 2 DH
Gnaphalium plycephalum 2 DH
Pulsatilla 4 DH
Terebinthina 3 DH
Excipient: ethanol 48% V/V
Dosage of Lehning Berberis n°83
It is recommended to take 20 drops 3 times a day between meals. Put the drops in a little water and keep the mixture under the tongue before swallowing (sublingually). We will space out the doses as soon as the symptoms improve and we will stop as soon as they disappear.
Treatment with Berberis will be limited to 15 days without medical advice.
Precautions for use of Berberis 83
Due to the presence of alcohol, this homeopathic medicine for back pain will not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, in children, in my epileptic subjects, in people with liver failure.
Berberis complex should not be used in cases of otitis or sinusitis without medical advice, because the Pulsatilla strain is included in its formulation.
Other homeopathic strains are offered by the Boiron laboratory such as Pareira brava granules or saponaria compound granules.
