Euphorbium drinkable drops or Lehning complex no. 88 is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used in blistering skin conditions, that is to say in addition to other medicinal treatments in cases of cold sores or cold sores.
Composition of Euphorbium 88 drops
The homeopathic strains used are in equal doses (3ml): Euphorbia resinifera 4 DH, Mezereum 4 DH, Petroleum 4 DH, Arsenicum iodatum 6 DH, Rhus toxicondendron 4 DH, Berberis aquifolium 1DH, Nitricum acidum 4 DH, Anacardium Orientale 6DH, Natrum salicylum 4 DH. The excipient of these drinkable drops is ethanol, the content of which is 49% V/V.
Dosage of Euphorbium n°88 for cold sores
This medication is reserved for adults and children over 12 years old. It is recommended to take 20 drops 3 times a day for 10 days. The drops will be diluted in a little water and kept under the tongue (sublingual route) before being swallowed. Euphorbium should preferably be taken outside of meals and doses will be spaced out as soon as symptoms improve.
Precautions for use of Lehning No. 88 complex
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any component of this medicine. Euphorbium No. 88 contains alcohol, which is why it is not recommended for patients at risk such as epileptics, people with liver failure, people with alcoholism or withdrawal, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children.
