Dosage of Lehning Euphrasia Conjunctivitis No. 115

Euphrasia Complexe n°115 is reserved for adults and children over 2 years old. In adults and children over 12 years old, the dosage is 20 drops 3 times a day for a maximum of 1 week.
For children aged 2 to 12 years, it is 1 drop, 5 times a day, spread over the day. The maximum duration of treatment is 5 days, due to the presence of alcohol in this complex. An interval of at least 4 hours must be respected between two doses.
The doses will be spaced out as soon as the symptoms improve, and must stop when they disappear.

The method of administration of this medication is sublingual.
The drops should be taken in a little water, away from meals and kept under the tongue before swallowing. The dropper bottle should be held vertically.

A doctor or pharmacist should be contacted immediately if too much oral solution has been taken.
You should not double the dose to compensate for missing a dose.

Precautions for use of Lehning Euphrasia Complex n°115

This oral solution contains ethanol (45% volume), be careful when using it in alcoholics. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and high-risk groups such as people with liver failure or epileptics.

For 20 drops, the amount of ethanol is 178 mg, which is equivalent to 1.8 ml of wine or 4.4 ml of beer per dose in adults.
For 1 drop, in children, the amount of ethanol is 8.9 mg, which is equivalent to 0.1 ml of wine or 0.22 ml of beer.
