Lehning L72 oral solution is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used for sleep disorders, nervousness or stress. It can also be used in anxious states.
Composition of L72 drops for sleep
This medication contains, for 30 ml of solution, Asa foetida 6 DH (3ml), Avena sativa TM (3ml), Chamomilla vulgaris 3 DH (3ml), Cicuta virosa 6 DH (3ml), Hyoscyamus niger 1 DH (3ml), Ignatia amara 3 DH (3ml), Nux vomica 3 DH (3ml), Staphysagria 4 DH (3ml), Sumbulus moschatus 6 DH (3ml), and Valeriana officinalis 2 DH (3ml).
The other constituents of this medicine are purified water and ethanol.
Dosage of Lehning L72 drops
The use of Lehning L72 drops is reserved for adults and children over 30 months. The drops should be diluted in a glass of water and taken away from meals.
In adults the dosage is 30 drops at midday, 60 drops before dinner and 60 drops at bedtime, for a maximum duration of 2 weeks.
In children, from 30 months, the dosage is 10 drops per day at bedtime, for a maximum treatment duration of 5 days, due to the presence of alcohol in the oral solution.
Precautions for use L72 sleep
Lehning L72 oral solution drops should never be used in children under 30 months and in case of allergy to one of the components of this medication.
Due to the presence of alcohol in this medication, its use may be dangerous in people suffering from alcoholism. Likewise, due to the presence of alcohol, this medication should be avoided in pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as in people with liver failure or epileptics. You should contact your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication.
Indeed, Lehning L72 oral solution contains 43% by volume of ethanol (alcohol). A 30 drop dose contains up to 254 mg per dose, which is equivalent to 6.36 ml of beer, 2.54 ml of wine per dose. 10 drops contain 85 mg of ethanol, which is equivalent to 2.12 ml of beer or 0.85 ml of wine.
In children, a sleep disorder requires consulting a doctor. Indeed, the origin of this disorder must be identified.
