Homeopathic Silicea complex n°11 tablets from Lehning laboratories are reserved for adults and children over 6 years old. This homeopathic medicine is traditionally used in cases of acne, and to complement treatments applied locally in cases of itchy eruptions tending to suppurate. Silicea tablets are available without a prescription.
Composition of Silica complex n°11 Lehning
The homeopathic strains are all present at 25 mg for a 250 mg tablet. We find in this homeopathic medicine against acne Silicea 3 DH, Argentum metallicum 4 DH, Antimonium crudum 4 DH, Arsenicum album 6 DH, Calcarea fluorica 4 DH, Ferrum phosphoricum 3 DH, Magnesia phosphorica 3 DH, Mercurius solubilis 8 DH and Manganum peroxidatum 3 DH.
The excipients of Lehning Silicea tablets are lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and rice starch.
Dosage of Silicea n 11 tablets against acne
In adults and adolescents over 12 years old, take 2 tablets 2 to 3 times a day. In children over 6 years old, we will give 1 tablet of Silicea 2 to 3 times a day.
These tablets are to be chewed and then allowed to melt under the tongue preferably away from meals. The method of administration of this medication is sublingual.
In case of acne, the maximum duration of treatment is 3 months. If there is no improvement after 1 month, consult a doctor.
In case of itchy eruptions, the maximum duration of treatment is 1 month. If there is no improvement after 8 days, consult a doctor.
Precautions for use of Silicea from Lehning
As a precaution, this medication should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
People who are hypersensitive to any of the constituents of the formula will not be able to take this acne medication.
Likewise, subjects intolerant to lactose or galactose or suffering from glucose and/or galactose malabsorption syndrome, lactase deficiency or Lapp syndrome should not use Silicea tablets (1 tablet contains 245.3 mg of lactose).
Due to the presence of the Silicea strain, this medication should not be taken in case of otitis or sinusitis without medical advice.
