Mercurochrome Heated Relaxing Patches Large Format 9cm x 29cm Pack of 2 are adapted to located pains in the neck, shoulders, all the back and lower abdomen. They are developed to rapidly relieve the pain in case of sprain, tendonitis, bruise or contusions. Thanks to its long size, the heat effectively releases the muscular pains as contractures, torticolis and lumbagos. - Intense diffusion of the heat: When opening the pouch protecting the patch, the mixture based on activated charcoal and iron powder produces heat in contact with oxygen. The large format patch diffuses heat continuously for 8 hours. - Benefit of heat: The heat has recognized properties to decontract tense muscles and relieve muscular pains. Indeed, the diffusion of the heat makes it possible to stimulate the blood circulation, follows an increase of the supply of oxygen and essential nutrients of the cells of the muscular tissue and facilitates an elimination of the residual substances. Clean and wipe the affected area thoroughly. When you are ready to use it, extract the patch from its pouch and remove the protective film. Place the patch on the painful area being careful that it adheres well to the skin over its entire surface (it can take about 30 minutes to reach the expected temperature). Wear the product for at least 8 hours. Seek medical attention: if pain persists, before use in case of pregnancy, diabetes or poor blood circulation, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis. Do not use if patch or sleeve is damaged, when used in combination with application of creams, ointments or other heating products in the event of bruising and swelling occurring within 48 hours. Do not use on injured skin under tight clothing and belts to avoid the risk of burns. Discontinue use when exposed to magnetic resonance imaging, discomfort, irritation, excessive heat sensation, burning, swelling, redness, or other persistent changes in the skin to which the product has been applied. This is why it should not be used in situations where the perception of heat is reduced (sleep, numb skin) or if the patient is not able to remove it himself (young children in particular). Do not use for more than 8 hours in 24 hours. Possible reuse results in a loss of performance of the device. Do not put in the microwave. Do not swallow the powder. In case of accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical attention. In case of direct contact (skin and eyes) with the material contained in the product, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention. This product may cause burns, periodically check the skin on which the patch is positioned to check for irritation or burns. Beyond age 55, the risk of burns increases. It is therefore best to use the product over a garment and not to use it during sleep. Be careful not to bend or overlay the heating cells to avoid the risk of burns. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Contraindications: Muscular lesions that require cold: elongations, strains, bruises, tendonitis, polyarthritis, migraines, wounds, burns, sunburns in combination with other products for local use.
