Mercurochrome Active Healing Plasters 6 Plasters are intended for the care of superficial wounds like abrasions, cuts, scratches. These plasters whose patented technology is derived from research in a hospital environment, combine: - a new technology matrix impregnated with Acti-Colloid particles (combination of hydrocolloids and petrolatum), - a compress absorbing bleeding and letting the wound breathe, - a very soft and comfortable support that follows your movements. The new patented Acti-Colloid technology is the combination of hydrocolloid particles and vaseline: the Acti-Colloids. Hydrocolloids are polymers that, in contact with the wound, form a gel creating optimal conditions for healing in a humid environment. Thanks to the presence of vaseline, the plaster does not adhere to the wound: the plaster is removed without pain. Thus, the plaster allows to quickly relieve pain, not to adhere to the wound and a painless withdrawal.

The usual duration of treatment is 5 to 6 days with a first renewal after 24 hours then every 48 hours. Reserved for the treatment of localized wounds whose size does not exceed the size of the compress. Cleanse the wound with an alcohol-free antiseptic, rinse and dry thoroughly with a sterile pad. Remove the protective fins and apply the plaster to the area to be treated. If you have some doubt, consult your pharmacist or doctor. A possible reuse results in a loss of product performance and a risk of contamination.
