MucoDrill effervescent tablets have the role of thinning bronchial secretions to make them easier to evacuate through coughing, particularly in cases of acute bronchitis. This medication is reserved for adults.
The active molecule is acetylcysteine ??600 mg.
The other ingredients are: Sodium bicarbonate (E500) (equivalent to 115 mg of sodium), citric acid (E330), sucralose (E955), orange flavor (gum arabic (E414), butylated hydroxyanisole (E320), citric acid monohydrate (E330), maltodextrin).

Dosage of MucoDrill oily cough medication
The recommended dose is to take one effervescent tablet per day and preferably in the morning.
The treatment must be short, i.e. no more than 8-10 days without medical advice.
Do not overdose, symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea or nausea may occur.
Precautions for use Mucodrill effervescent tablets
Mucodrill effervescent tablets should not be used in case of allergy to any constituent of this medicine.
Please note, if you are asthmatic or if you experience more or less intermittent breathing difficulty due to muscular contraction of the bronchial muscles or swelling of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, the administration of this medication may increase breathing difficulties. In this case, you should stop treatment and consult a doctor.
If you have or have had a peptic ulcer in the past, this medicine may cause irritation of the lining of your stomach.
If you notice a change in the appearance of your skin or mucous membranes, you should consult a doctor immediately and stop taking acetylcysteine.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking another treatment, even if it is obtained without a prescription.
If you are taking antibiotics, it is advisable to take them two hours before or after this medication.
Do not take cough medicine at the same time, as you need to be able to cough effectively to expectorate the thinned mucus.
It is best to avoid the administration of MucoDrill with nitrate derivative drugs because it potentiates the anti-hypertensive activity. Charcoal reduces the effect of this medicine.
During pregnancy or breastfeeding, seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist before administration.
