Osteocynesin is a homeopathic medicine from Boiron laboratories which comes in the form of orodispersible tablets (melt naturally under the tongue). It is indicated in cases of decalcification, growth disorders in children or in the consolidation of fractures, to be consumed during convalescence.
Composition of Osteocynesin
The active ingredients of this medicine concern the following homeopathic strains:
Calcarea carbonica ostrearum 3 DH,
Calacrea fluorica 3 DH,
Calcarea phosphorica 3 DH,
Sulfur iodatum 4 CH.
They make up the formula in equal parts, at a rate of 0.625 mg.
The excipient with a notable effect in Osteocynesin tablets is lactose.
Dosage of Osteocynesin lozenges
In adults and children over 6 years old, take 2 tablets per day. The tablets can be sucked or crushed in a little water.
Under 6 years of age, the Osteocynesin tablets must be dissolved in a little water before giving it to the child to drink to avoid the risk of misuse.
Precautions for use of Osteocynesin
This Osteocynesin medication is not recommended in cases of fructose or lactose intolerance, glucose and/or galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase/isomaltase deficiency (rare hereditary diseases).
