The homeopathic medicine Sedative PC in granules from Boiron laboratories is traditionally used in anxious and emotional states and sleep disorders.
Sedative PC is available without a prescription and this sleep medication is suitable for both children and adults without affecting their alertness.
This medication is on medical advice for children aged 12 months to 30 months.
Composition of Sedative PC granules
The homeopathic strains present in the composition of Sedatif PC are Aconitum napellus 6 CH, Belladonna 6 CH, Calendula officinalis 6 CH, Chelidonium majus 6 CH, Valeriana officinalis 4 CH and Viburnum opulus 6 CH.
The excipients of these sleep granules are lactose and sucrose.
Dosage of PC Sedative granules
The usual dose of this medication for sleep is 5 granules up to 3 times a day.
The granules should be left to melt under the tongue except for children under 6 years of age for whom they will be melted in a little water.
In adults, treatment should not exceed 15 days.
In children aged 1 year to 30 months, the doctor will determine the duration of intake. In children over 30 months, treatment should not exceed 10 days.
If after a week of treatment you do not notice any improvement, a medical consultation is necessary.
Do not hesitate to combine the relaxing effects of a few drops of Yuzu essential oil in the bath.
Precautions for use of Sedative PC
This medicine should not be taken if you are allergic to any of its components. It should not be administered to a child under 1 year of age.
Any sleep disorder in children should lead to consulting a doctor.
Due to the presence of certain sugars, PC Sedative granules should not be used by people with an intolerance to certain sugars.
This medication is not contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
