Active ingredients: 5% caffeine
Excipients: carbomer (synthalene K), trolamine, macrogol 7-glycerol cocoate (CETHIOL HE), 96% ethanol, and purified water.
Topical application of Percutaféine gel
This gel is recommended for the symptomatic treatment of localized subcutaneous fat deposits (localized excess fat), commonly known as cellulite.
How to use Percutaféine 5% caffeine gel?
Percutaféine gel is applied cutaneously to clean, dry skin at a dose of 10 to 20 g, applied once or twice a day for 1 month. The anti-cellulite gel should be massaged into the affected areas: generally the thighs, stomach, hips, or buttocks.
If itchy, urticarial redness appears, discontinue Percutaféine treatment immediately.
Wash your hands thoroughly after use.
Ask our pharmacists for advice on using Percutaféine gel.
Precautions for use of Percutafeine slimming gel
This non-prescription anti-cellulite medication is for use by those over 15 years of age.
Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
Do not apply if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Percutaféine gel.
The presence of alcohol can cause skin irritation and/or dryness and prevents its use in patients treated with disulfiram. If you do not feel any improvement or if you feel worse, you should consult your doctor.
Percutaféine and Pregnancy
The use of Percutaféine during pregnancy is not recommended and is not authorized without medical advice. Consult your doctor before applying Percutaféine gel. Similarly, if you are planning a pregnancy, do not use this medication without consulting your doctor.
Percutaféine and Breastfeeding
During breastfeeding, Percutaféine should only be used after consulting your doctor.
Percutaféine and Obesity
Percutaféine gel is not a long-term treatment for obesity; it must be accompanied by lifestyle and dietary measures.
Dangers when handling Percutaféine gel
Percutaféine gel contains alcohol, which is flammable.
It is essential to keep it away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and any other source of ignition.
Similarly, it is strongly recommended not to smoke while using or handling the tube.
Side effects of Percutafeine
Percutafeine may cause side effects such as an allergic reaction if you are allergic/hypersensitive to its components. If red, itchy patches occur, discontinue treatment immediately.
Other side effects, such as frequent applications, may cause irritation and dry skin.
Another side effect may be due to the medication's gel form with a high alcohol content in the excipients (96% ethanol), which can cause skin irritation or a burning sensation.
If disulfiram is taken, slight reddening of the skin may occur.
Storing Percutaféine
Do not use Percutaféine after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
Percutaféine should not be refrigerated.
Do not dispose of Percutaféine gel in household waste or down the drain. Ask our pharmacists how to dispose of Percutaféine if you no longer use it; this will help protect the environment.
