The homeopathic medicine Stodaline sugar-free syrup is traditionally used in the treatment of coughs.
It is a 200 ml sugar-free syrup reserved for children over 2 years old and adults.

Blackberry vanilla flavor
The excipients present in this medicine are liquid maltitol, sorbitol (E420), sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid monohydrate (E330), blackberry flavor*, vanilla flavor* and purified water.
*contains propylene glycol (E1520).
Maltitol, sorbitol, sodium benzoate and propylene glycol are excipients with a notable effect.
Dosage of Stodaline sugar-free syrup
The method of administration of this medication is orally.
For children aged 24 to 35 months (approximately 12 to 15 kg), the dosage is 1 dose of 2.5 ml using the measuring cup once a day
For children aged 3 and 11 years (approximately 15 to 40 kg), the dosage is 1 dose of 2.5 ml using the measuring cup twice a day
For adolescents aged 12 and 18, the dosage is 1 dose of 5 ml using the measuring cup 2 to 3 times a day.
For adults: 1 dose of 15 ml using the measuring cup 3 to 5 times a day.
You are advised to space out the doses of Stodaline syrup depending on the improvement of symptoms and to stop as soon as you no longer cough. Knowing that if there is no improvement after 3 days, you must consult your doctor. Otherwise the treatment can last a week.
Precautions for use of Stodaline cough syrup
Stodaline is contraindicated for you if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients contained in this medicine.
You should immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have taken more syrup than you should.
If you have an intolerance to certain sugars, contact your doctor first.
The administration of this medication is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance. Due to the presence of liquid maltitol and sorbitol, this medicine may cause mild digestive upset (diarrhea).
Stodaline sugar-free syrup contains 0.6 g of sorbitol for a dose of 2.5 ml, 1.2 g for 5 ml or 3.7 g for 15 ml. It includes sodium benzoate equivalent to 5.2 mg of benzoic acid and 1 mg of sodium for a dose of 2.5 ml, 10.4 mg and 2 mg of sodium for a dose of 5 ml and 31.3 mg and 6 mg of sodium for a dose of 15 ml. Finally, it includes less than 1 mmol (23 mg) of sodium per dose, meaning it is essentially “sodium-free.”
It contains 3.7 mg of propylene glycol for a dose of 2.5 ml (7.5 mg for 5 ml or 22.5 mg for 15 ml), equivalent to 1.5 mg/ml.
As a precaution, this medication should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The aroma of Stodaline syrup is blackberry-vanilla.
The medicine should not be stored for more than a year after opening.
