Storinyl syrup from the Boiron laboratory is a homeopathic medicine intended for adults and children aged at least 2 years. It is indicated as part of the treatment of colds (nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, minor sore throat) and dry or wet coughs.
Storinyl is made up of homeopathic strains, at a level, for each of them, of 0.01 g per 100 g of syrup:
Dulcamara 5 CH
Ferrum phosphoricum 9 CH
Hydrastis canadensis 9 CH
Kalium bichromicum 9 CH
Nux vomica 9 CH
The excipients with a notable effect are sucrose and sodium benzoate.
Dosage of Storinyl syrup
The syrup is taken orally according to a dosage specific to the patient's age.
For adults and children over 12 years old, the recommended dose is 15 ml 3 to 5 times a day.
Children between 2 and 12 years old will be limited to a dose of 5 ml, 3 times a day.
Finally, children under 2 years old can be treated with 5 ml, diluted in a small quantity of water, 3 times a day.
It is recommended to space out the doses and to stop them as soon as the symptoms disappear, for a treatment duration not to exceed one week.
Precautions for use
Storinyl is a medicine not subject to medical prescription. It is suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
