Description:

TheraPearl Kids Compress is a non-toxic and reusable compress which contains pearls. The pearls associate the power of therapy by heat or cold to relieve the daily sores (Stomach pain, stroke, bruising, bump, headache, fever, minor injuries . . . ). Heat therapy: Heat in the microwave for the time indicated opposite and test the temperature of the pack. Heat for an additional 3 seconds, if necessary, until the desired temperature is reached. Cold therapy: Put in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Recommended heating time for:700 Watts: approximately 13 seconds. 1000 Watts: approximately 11 seconds. You can also heat the compress in hot water in a saucepan. Fill a large pot with enough water. Bring the water to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat before immersing the compress, completely without touching the bottom of the pan, for 1-2 minutes. Use a non-sharp, non-metallic utensil to immerse the compress in and remove the water. Do not allow the pad to come in contact with the pan or heat source because the pad may deteriorate on direct contact with heat. If the compress has not reached the desired temperature, submerge it again for an additional 1 minute. Do not leave the compress unattended while heating. Test the temperature of the compress and dry it before applying it to your skin. Always check the pad for damage and pearl leakage before using it. Do not use it if it is damaged. The application should not exceed 20 minutes. Wait at least 20 minutes before any new application. If necessary, reapply for 20 minutes. Always check the temperature of the compress before application. Prolonged application could cause injury, including burns. Do not use on infants. Do not use if you have circulatory problems. Do not use heat therapy on stitches or an open wound. Do not fall asleep while using the compress. Use only under adult supervision. Do not puncture the compress or ingest its contents. Do not use as a teething ring. For extreme, prolonged or chronic pain, consult a physician. Use as directed only. Reheating beyond the suggested time may damage or destroy the pad. External use only.
