Description:
1% gel applicator tube is anti-inflammatory and analgesic (it calms pain). It contains Diclofenac which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory gel. Voltaren Actigo 1% gel with applicator tube is indicated to relieve pain related to rheumatism, minor trauma (sprains, strains, etc.) or of muscular origin. It calms pain and inflammation. Apply Voltaren Actigo 1% to the skin, in the form of a ribbon, and massage only the painful area. Its tube is equipped with a very practical application which allows the gel to be applied evenly. Once this gel has been applied, simply massage the painful area using the applicator pad, which avoids handling the gel with your fingers. Its formula incorporates essential oils of Lavandin, Brazilian Rosewood and Lavender which give it pleasant and soothing notes. Voltaren Actigo 1% gel with applicator tube is indicated for adults as a short-term local treatment. You should consult your doctor if you do not feel any improvement after 4 days.

Directions:
The use is done by local application on the painful area 2 to 3 times a day, for a maximum duration of 4 days. If the pain persists beyond that, a doctor should be consulted. On the advice of the doctor, the maximum duration of treatment may be extended to 7 days. The administered dose of Voltaren Actigo at each application should not exceed 2.5 g of gel , i.e. approximately 6 cm of gel: Make the gel penetrate with a gentle and prolonged massage on the painful or inflamed area. Wash hands thoroughly after each use. Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. In the case of allergy (hypersensitivity) to this medicine or to a related medicine, in particular other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines, aspirin, No to be used on injured skin, whatever the lesion: oozing lesions, eczema, infected lesion, burn or wound.
The use of VoltarenActigo requires precautions for use such as avoiding its application on the mucous membranes, the eyes. An if your skin has any reaction stop use immediately. This gel contains propylene glycol which can induce irritations of the skin.
Do not use VoltarenActigo 1% under an occlusive dressing. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicine at the same time. Do not combine other drugs containing diclofenac.
The use of VoltarenActigo is to be avoided during pregnancy and contraindicated from the 6th month (effect on the child). This gel passes into the milk and therefore should be avoided during breastfeeding.
