Description
Avent 2-in-1 Breast Shell Set must be worn in the bra to protect sore nipples and collect the excess of milk.
The perforated shells protect cracked nipples, so they heal faster. They exert a slight pressure to help relieve congestion (to be used for short durations). The holes enable an air circulation.
The collect-milk shells (these with no hole) collect leaking milk during feeding or while using a breast pump.
The silicone pads enable to protect the nipples between feedings.
Contains 6 pieces:
- 1 pair of ventilated breast shells: protect sore or cracked nipples, help ease engorgements.
- 1 pair of non-ventilated breast milk collection shells: for use when breastfeeding or using Philips Avent breast pump.
- 1 pair of ultra-soft silicone backing cushions.
Directions for use
Breast shells must be sterilised if you want to use the collected milk. Sterilisation enables to protect your baby for bacterias that are present in the milk, particulaly harmful, until his/her immune system is strong enough.
