Beaphar Caniguard Line-On Medium Dog and Large Dog 3 Pipettes of 4ml with permethrin provide triple protection against ticks, fleas and sandflies. These pipettes are both curative (kill parasites) and preventative (protect against new infestations). These pipettes allow the elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides felis). The insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by fleas persists for 4 weeks. New fleas are eliminated within 48 hours of infestation. The product has not demonstrated an immediate acaricidal effect against ticks but its miticidal efficacy against new infestations persists for 6 weeks against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). If ticks of this species are present at the time of product application, they may not all be killed in the first 48 hours, but may be killed within the first week. The product has a repulsive activity for 5 weeks against sandflies (Phlebotomus perniciosus). The product has residual insecticidal activity for 3 weeks against sandflies (Phlebotomus perniciosus).

Indications:

Prevention and treatment of ticks, fleas and sandflies in medium and large dogs.

Composition:

Permethrin 40/60 1. 6 g, Butylhydroxyanisole (E320), Butylhydroxytoluene (E321), Monoethyl ether of Diethylene glycol.

Directions:

External only. Apply directly to the skin:For a dog weighing between 15 and 30 kg: 2 pipettes of 4 ml. The minimum interval between two treatments is 4 weeks. Spread the hair from the dorsal line from the shoulder blades to the base of the tail so that the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and gently squeeze the pipette to empty the contents onto the skin all along the dorsal line, taking care to stay in contact with the skin.
