Biocarde Lehning Oral Solution

Biocarde Lehning in oral solution is a herbal medicine composed of a combination of plants with sedative purposes.
This medication is recommended for adults in cases of cardiac problems of nervous origin, that is to say palpitations, an exaggerated perception of heartbeat due to mild anxiety. It can also be recommended for mild symptoms of stress and to promote sleep.

Composition of Lehning Biocarde

For 30 ml of solution its composition of active substances is 12 ml of hawthorn (tincture of flowering tops - Crataegus oxycantha L.), 3 ml of passionflower (tincture of aerial parts - Passiflora incarnata L.), 4.5 ml of valerian (tincture of roots - Valeriana officinalis L.), 3 ml of oats (tincture of aerial flowering parts - Avena sativa L.), 3 ml of lemon balm (tincture of aerial parts - Melissa officinalis L.) and 4.5 ml of motherwort (tincture of aerial parts - Leonorus cardiaca L.). The excipients are ethanol and purified water.

Dosage of Biocarde Lehning

The use of Biocarde Lehning oral solution is reserved for adults and adolescents aged 18 and over.
The drops should be diluted in a little water.
In adults, in the event of cardiac disorders of nervous origin, the dosage is 15 drops 3 times a day. In case of stress and to facilitate sleep, the dosage is 15 drops in the evening with dinner and 15 drops at bedtime.

A minimum treatment duration of two weeks is recommended and this can be extended up to 4 weeks. You can space out the doses as soon as you observe an improvement in the symptoms and stop taking them as soon as they disappear. If no improvement is observed after two weeks of use or if you feel worse, you should consult your doctor.

Precautions for use of Lehning Biocarde drops

Never use Biocarde Lehning if you are allergic to any of the components contained in the formula or if you are pregnant. Not recommended during breastfeeding.
This medication contains alcohol: its alcoholic strength is 63% [V/V] or 378 mg of alcohol for 15 drops. This is equivalent to 3.8 ml of wine or 9.5 ml of beer per dose.

Biocarde is contraindicated in people with alcoholism. This should be taken into account for people in high-risk groups (epileptics, liver failure, etc.), children and pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Contraindicated for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Due to the presence of oats, caution is advised in patients with celiac disease.

Biocarde may cause drowsiness; its use is not recommended before driving or using machinery.

Concomitant use of several medications containing ethanol should be avoided.
