What is Grass Pollen Granules?

The strain of this medicine, Grass Pollen, is plant-based. It comes from the pollens of a family of plants.

These pollen grains are of variable size, a few tens of microns. They are carried by the wind in spring and summer. They are a cause of allergy, triggering rhinitis in affected people.

For the manufacture of this homeopathic medicine, the strain was put in a solvent containing alcohol. After this maceration step, a mother tincture was obtained, containing the active ingredients of the plant. This mother tincture was then diluted several times. Dilution holds a fundamental place in homeopathy, since its foundation by Samuel Hahnemann, more than two centuries ago. The dilutions carried out were CH, Hahnemannian Centesimals. These are dilutions to the hundredth. After these dilutions, there was impregnation of granules. These contain two excipients: lactose and sucrose.

Dosage of Boiron granulated grass pollen

This medication is administered orally. The granules should be allowed to melt under the tongue. For administration to a child under 6 years old, they must be dissolved in a small quantity of water.
