The heating patch should be applied locally on dry, non-injured skin. It reaches its effective heat level in 30 minutes. The patch should not be worn for more than 12 hours during a 24-hour period. The risk of burning increases with age: if you are over 55 apply the patch over a thin garment, and avoid wearing it during the night. Consult a pharmacist before use if you have diabetes, poor blood circulation, nerve damage, if you have a heart condition, arthritis or if you are pregnant.
