Homeomunyl is a homeopathic medicine traditionally recommended for supporting the body's natural defenses during the influenza season. It comes in the form of granules in single-dose vials.

The active ingredient in this homeopathic medicine is Influenzinum 9CH, which is prepared based on the influenza strains of the current year. The name "Influenzinum" is taken from "Influenza," the old scientific name for influenza viruses. While Homeomunyl is not a vaccine itself, it is made from the same strains used in the annual flu vaccine.
As flu strains evolve yearly, Influenzinum is updated to address the most prevalent strains expected for the upcoming flu season. Through a process of dilution and dynamization, the strains are transformed into a homeopathic solution. In this case, the strains have been diluted to the 9th centesimal potency (9CH), meaning the original strain has been diluted 9 times to one hundredth. The term CH refers to Centésimale Hahnemannienne, a scale named after Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy.
Homeomunyl comes in a pack containing 4 single doses of Influenzinum 9CH. Other ingredients include lactose monohydrate and sucrose.
Recommended Dosage:
- Take 1 single-dose vial per week for 3 consecutive weeks, starting in the fall.
- A 4th dose should be taken one month after the 3rd dose.
- Allow the entire contents of the vial to dissolve under the tongue, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach or at least away from meals.
Contraindications:
- Not suitable for children under 6 years old.
- Should not be used if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Avoid use if you have congenital galactosemia, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, or lactase deficiency due to the presence of lactose. Similarly, avoid if you have fructose intolerance or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency due to the presence of sucrose.
