The marjoram with thujanol is an aromatic plant with a warm taste very close to oregano (same type: Origanum and same family: Lamiaceae). Cultivated in the Mediterranean area, this plant is native from Egypt and South-West Asia where it grows on rich, sunny soils. The marjoram is a plant that develops herbaceous shoots and angular hairy and erect stems. Its flowering leaves and tops contain 1 to 2% of an essential oil similar to Thujanol Thyme.
